SRP 2024 Energy-Efficiency Programs: Savings and Sustainability for Businesses

In 2024, businesses are facing rising costs, and managing energy consumption is more important than ever. Salt River Project (SRP) is stepping up to help with nearly $8 million in energy-efficiency rebates available for businesses, with a $300,000 cap per customer.

Through the SRP PowerWise™ Business Solutions program, businesses can access cash incentives for a wide range of energy-efficiency upgrades, including support for high-efficiency lighting, cooling systems, motors, compressed air, and refrigeration equipment in both existing and new buildings.

“These programs allow our customers to see immediate savings, with short payback periods for installed projects, followed by continued energy savings over time,” said Debbie Kimberly, SRP’s manager of Energy Efficiency & Policy Analysis. “Energy efficiency costs less than building new power plants, and it promotes good environmental practices.”

2024 Program Highlights

SRP has introduced several new features and enhancements to their 2024 energy-efficiency program:

  • Free lighting audits for small business customers, plus rebates to support lighting upgrades.
  • Funding of up to 100% for technical audits to help larger businesses implement more complex system improvements.
  • Cash incentives for a broad range of energy-efficiency measures, such as:
    • High-efficiency lighting
    • Cooling systems
    • Motors and compressed air systems
    • Refrigeration equipment

“These energy-saving opportunities are more important than ever in today’s economic climate,” said Kimberly. “By taking advantage of SRP’s incentives, our customers can significantly lower their energy costs while adopting environmentally friendly practices that improve their bottom line.”

Simplified Access to Energy Efficiency

To make the process as seamless as possible, SRP collaborates with a trusted network of skilled contractors, vendors, and engineering firms. This ensures that businesses can easily navigate the rebate program and achieve the maximum benefit from their energy-efficiency upgrades.
