Here at Parker & Sons, we are offering a $10,000 scholarship to a deserving teen! The deadline for entry is the 15th.
Do you know a high school student between 14 and 18 years old who has proven to have shown outstanding character or good sportsmanship through an act or deed?
We think student athletes are amazing, not only because they must be dedicated and hard-working both on and off the field, but also because of the character traits they exhibit in the classroom and in their extracurriculars: teamwork, thoughtfulness, and putting others before themselves.
Our “Character Counts” Scholarship is awarded every year to the student who we think best exhibits these traits, often by supporting others in their greater community.
“Nothing is more important than supporting our local community,” says our owner, Paul Kelly. Paul is talking about the students receiving the scholarship, who are so committed to doing good for others. Paul is also talking about Parker & Sons! Nothing is more important to us than supporting our local community, and that means helping deserving students achieve their dreams!
The Character Counts $10,000 Scholarship will go to just one student, but all finalists win prizes and are featured in a story on arizonasports.com.
We here at Parker & Sons are so honored to work with Arizona Sports for another year, to help a deserving student go to college, and to give back to them the same way they have given to others.
